Liberals Trying To Use Texas Plane Attack To Paint The Right As Dangerous Anti-Government Groups

Bookmark and Share    We knew it would not take long for the left to take Joe Stack’s suicidal terrorist flight into an Austin, Texas building that housed IRS offices, and associate it with those to the right of the political spectrum.

Within a few hours of the unimaginable horror that Stack wreaked, Washington ComPOST columnist Jonathon Capehart went ahead and did it.   He stated that the sentiments expressed were like those of the extreme elements of the Tea Party protestors.

Capehart also proceeds to post segments of Joe Stack’s suicide message in his column as evidence of his association between the terrorist act of a lunatic and those who dissent against the excesses of government. (see the full Stack manifesto here)

In less than a paragraph, Capehart essentially labels those who oppose this Administration or the strong hand of government as extreme anti-government groups. Does Capehart include himself in this dangerous group of “anti-government” groups? Because if he doesn’t, he needs to. Not long ago Capehart was opposed to everything that the government of President George W. Bush did. So should Capehart not be on a government watch list now? Maybe someone needs to send his name to that fishy@whitehouse.gov website that the Obama Administration had once created for the purpose of reporting to them those who disagree with the government healthcare takeover scheme.

It is time for the left to get a grip and start revaluating their shtick. They have gotten away with their double standard for far too long .

In the wake of 9/11 and the rise of radical Islamic terrorists, the left stood firm in their goal to insure that all Muslims were not condemned. They were right too. And they were not alone. President Bush went out of his way to make it clear that we were not at war with Islam or any faith but the terrorists. Profiling was disallowed and instead of doing a second search on the veiled and burkah clad airplane passenger traveling from Yemen, they demanded that the blue haired Grandmother from Pasadena be stripped and frisked.

But when it comes to political ideology, the left suddenly loses any guilt by association beliefs. Suddenly , if you do not think like them, if you did not support Barack Obama for President, you are part of a dangerous anti-government group or movement.

If liberals were as steadfast in their cries and warnings about terrorism as they are with their knee-jerk tendency to label Republicans as dangerous killers, than this nation would be a much safer place.

But such is not the case. Instead, liberals like Jonathon Capehart will use the acts of a lone lunatic who targeted the IRS and associate it with Tea Party protestors and right wing groups.

In Capehart’s case, while he posted the last few remaining paragraphs of Stack’s manifesto, he conveniently left out the last two lines that were between the last paragraph of his message and his name at the bottom.   They were;

“The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.”

While Capehart associated Stack’s opinions with the Tea Party movement, in addition to conveniently leaving those last two lines out of his post, he neglected to associate many of the other very left leaning positions that Stack espoused. Gone were the references to Stack’s anti-Bush remarks or his desire for government run healthcare. Combine these sentiments along with the final two sentences of Stack’s suicide note and what you have are the words of someone who sounds like a left leaning Marxist.

Maybe it is time for Jonathon Capehart, the Washington ComPost, the New York Slimes and other disreputable liberal entities to put an end to their attempts to label those who oppose big government as terrorists. After all, President Obama has ties of his own to quite a famous anti-government, liberal figure who happens to also be a confessed domestic terrorist, responsible for plots against several different government building and deaths.

Does the name William Ayres sound familiar?  We can start disussing that name and the Weather Undrground again?

So if liberals want to play this game, let’s play it. Let us see how many liberals who cried that dissention was patriotic when Bush was President, but find it not the case now, could be considered dangerous radical anti-government elements based on their dissention back during the Bush years. There are many moves to be made in this game if they wish to continue playing it.

Or we can stop the game. They can drop the double standard and stop trying to associate a dislike of socialism with violent radicalism or stop equating opposition to President Obama’s policies to racism.  And I can stop blaming them for their endless use of double standards and continuous hypocrisy.

If the left can actually drop their hypocrisy, perhaps we can unite against violence and terrorism instead of exploiting tragedy in an attempt to dilute the effectiveness of those who disagree with them.

What Joe Stack did was beyond wrong. It was horrific, reprehensible and deserving of  all of us  going out of our way to join in a united national denunciation of his acts. And what Jonathon Capehart did was also wrong. Instead of using Stack’s act of terrorism as something for all of us to unite against, he used it to divide the differences between left and right even further apart.

THE MESSIAH MODE AND BARACK OBAMA’S POLITICAL MADRASAS

In the Islamic faith a madrasa is a school for the study of the Koran and Islamic thought,. Many madrasas are wrongfully used to teach extremist Islamic views and indoctrinate the young into jihad against what they call, the great Satan, the United States.

When used as a training ground for terrorism, madrasas are dangerous. They perpetuate a corrupted interpretation of a religion and breed violence and hatred all in the name of Allah.

Such schools of propaganda are frowned upon and not only discouraged but fought against. Yet here in the United States a growing number of political madrasas are cropping up in the gymnasiums and classrooms of our own public schools. They have grown in number from California to New York and were inspired by followers of liberal messiah Barack Obama.

Liberals have been blinded by hatred for Republicans and motivated by their jealousy of Republican electoral victories.  That same hatred and jealousy has inspired them to spread their message through the basic educational institutions within the nation’s school systems.

Just a few weeks ago a college level teacher forced students to complete an assignment that ripped apart Sarah Palin’s speech at the Republican National Convention. A contrary approach that would have supported her speech by a student, who agreed with what she said, was unacceptable and did not fulfill the requirements of the assignment.

Shortly after that, low grade elementary school children were gathered together for days of rehearsal as they prepared for a choir performance that sang the virtues of Barack Obama.

Now in Missouri, another teacher was reprimanded for gathering students together for pro-Obama military like drills that shout out adoring chants for Barack. As you can see in the video, it is an eerie display of Nazi like military celebrations for Hitler.

In fact all of these public school activities and the training of children into liberal ideologies before thay have developed sense of personal independent thought are frightening. The biased indoctrination of youth by public school educators is appalling. The single digit aged kids singing in choirs for Obama is reminiscent of communist Chinese school auditoriums paying homage to Mao Tse Tung.

What I find most intriguing is the fact that the educators who are sponsoring these events are the very same people who refuse school prayer or the pledge of allegiance to be conducted in the public domain. They have thrown the ROTC off of campuses and refused to allow it as an option for children.  Yet they are more than happy to train school children to believe that Barack Obama is our savior and that he is the one person we must have faith in.

It is another example of liberal hypocrisy and a prime example of the same type of madrasa-like atmosphere that extremists use to brainwash children and draft them into jihad.

The problem, for me, is that this is still America. The Islamic jihad has not yet converted our population to their cause and the tactics that they use should not be adopted by American schools and educators. It is bad enough that many institutions of higher learning are dominated by liberal radicals like domestic terrorist and Obama buddy Bill Ayers who is now a Chicago professor. But the line must be drawn in our elementary institutions.

Liberals preach the virtues of tolerance and acceptance. They accuse all others who are not liberal of being

Class In Session At An Extremist Madrasa

Class In Session At An Extremist Madrasa

intolerant and prejudiced yet they have no qualms about brainwashing innocent children into promoting their own biases and intolerances. Just like the extremist madrasas promoting their sheep-like flock of terrorists.

All of this is a result of the very real messiah image that Obama has created for himself. An image that he, himself, believes and that his mindless, desperate, bitter, hateful followers agree with. For them Obama can do no wrong even though he has done nothing in his entire political career. For them winning is all that matters and for them no one is immune from their tactics to win, not even innocent children. It is dangerously similar to the bombing tactics of William Ayers or Hezbollah and it is unacceptable in a democracy, especially our American democracy.

It is time for Barack Obama to denounce such tactics and help to stem the prostituting of our youth in an attempt to promote a political agenda. Does he adore and endorse endorses these tactics the same way that Kruschev did when children from all over the former Soviet Union were collected and gathered in Red Square to sing his praises behind a backdrop of the latest military hardware? Or does Barack rejects such spectacles and tactics as an illegitimate and inappropriate parasitizing of children for political purposes? Having the messianic complex that he has of himself I think I know the answer to that question.

Here is a free puppy

Barack Obama is running down the street one day, and he sees a little girl who is giving away puppies that her dog just had.

He goes up to the girl and says, “Little girl, I think that it’s wonderful that you’re doing such a good thing.”

The little girl says, “Thank you, Senator Obama. Would you like a puppy? They’re Democrats.”

Barack declines and jogs onward. The next day Barrack jogs past the same girl and decides to talk to her again. “You know what, little girl? I think I’ll take one of those puppies after all, seeing as how they’re Democrats.”

The girl says, “I’m sorry Senator Obama, but they’re not Democrats any more. They’re Republican now.”

Barack says, “They are? How do you know? As a matter of fact, how did you know that they were Democrats at first to begin with?”

She says, “Well, just after they were born they were Democrats, but now their eyes are open.”

CAMPAIGNING FOR PRESIDENT WITH A STRATEGY THAT MATTERS AND MAKES A DIFFERENCE

One General Strategy I would Use In The Campaign

An Account of One General Strategy I Would Use In The Campaign

With about 1 month remaining to go in this election, I would suggest that the candidates use that time well. If I were managing John McCain’s campaign I would maintain my focus on those battleground states and place a priority on the issues most important to the voters in those states.

At the same time, McCain needs to not only differentiate himself from Obama but also separate himself from the perceived image of a typical Republican, the perceived image. He must also define Obama. All of this should have been done earlier but better late than never.

In doing this John McCain will have to point out that his career has been spent opposing republicans when they were wrong and working with Democrats when they were right and bringing both sides of the aisle together for that which is right. He has to show that he proposed increasing regulations on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac two years ago, when he saw that a lack of regulations and monitoring of questionable recording practices were leading us to trouble. He stood up to Ronald reagan and opposed deploying forces to Lebanon for a peace keeping mission which eventually led to the loss of nearly 300 Americans when a suicide bomber targeted their barracks.

McCain must point to legislative efforts that made him cross party lines in order to work with Democrats like Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Russ Feingold, Diane Feinstein, Joe Biden and many others.

This must all be laid out while shining light on Barack Obama’s partisanship and his lockstep, liberal leanings.

In addition to the contrast of Mccain’s bipartisan record and Obama’s partisan practices, McCain should drive home the fact that one can tell a lot from the company that they keep. Obama’s friends are quite telling too. They include Obama’s friends & fellow fundraisers, convicted, Chicago slum lord Tony Rezko and unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers. His relationships also include his 20 years of worship under the American hating, racist, religious bigots Rev. Wright. All of which are just a few examples among a long list of radical, socialists and troublesome characters

All of the above are underlying themes. Themes which should be conveyed through television and targeted direct mail advertising and while that is occurring I would simultaneously set in motion a nationwide campaign effort that puts forth one major policy initiative every other day. This is the strategy that I would have the candidate personally conduct in his day to day activities. While overriding concerns with the economy and the war shall remain ever present and should be addressed, go beyond the obvious and tap into the underlying, less addressed, issues which are ignored.

Every other day I would present to the nation a legislative initiative dealing with all the other aspects of our lives. For the sake of time and megabytes I will outline a few examples.

McCain has had a problem with one issue that has fallen off the radar, immigration.

It may not be the priority that it was 13 months ago but it remains as troublesome now as it was than. McCain’s last attempt to resolve the issue was pitiful. The McCain-Kennedy initiative failed and rightfully so.  John McCain has since admitted that he has heard the people and they want our border secured before we make any other attempts to change the legal immigration process.

Knowing this, I would have John McCain present to the people a new and comprehensive plan called OPEN ARMS-SECURE BORDERS .

I would have McCain step up to the podium and declare:

“The fact that America has not enforced our immigration laws effectively and the fact that our border is so openly available to illegal crossings and potential threats is a travesty. That is why I stand before you today to propose OPEN ARMS-SECURE BORDERS . This ten point plan secures our border with a high tech security barrier that is monitored by extensive and coordinated patrolling. The bill also streamlines the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and makes it more efficient. OASB also remembers that the word “illegal” means “not illegal” and in this bill illegal conduct is punished not rewarded. After a set amount of time allowing for implementation of this bill, illegal immigrants will have to comply with the laws that up till now, we have neglected to enforce or face deportation. The bill also increases steep penalties for businesses which ignore our immigration laws and illegally hire cheap labor by placing illegal immigrants on their payrolls”.

The OPEN ARMS-SECURE BORDERS bill, which I have provided a link to for readers, has several other points but you get the point. John McCain needs to address the issue, remind us of it’s importance and stake claim to his commitment to solve the problem when he is President.

Another issue that I would rekindle has a more nationalizing electoral component to it. Taxes.

Taxes are an ever present issue and it is an issue that the McCain campaign can use to help gain Republican seats or at least stabilize losses.

If John McCain were to come out and state “the complete Internal Revenue code is more than 24 megabytes in length, and contains more than 3.4 million words; printed 60 lines to the page, it would fill more than 7500 letter-size pages. Every time the federal government addresses the tax issue it’s code increases size, megabytes and pages. Ladies and gentlemen, this is ridiculous and each additional page created to fix our broken tax code, only complicates it more. We need to simplify this and we need to make it more efficient”

At this point I would like to see John McCain propose a flat tax or as I call it National Flat Tax Equity Reform. I want the leaders of our big nation to think big and be bold. I believe a flat tax is equitable and provides the progressive rate of growth that our national economy needs. However I have no expectations for either of the major party nominees to be so bold.

Therefore I would hope that McCain could at least step forward and say……..“So I intend to go through each page of the tax code and together, with my colleagues and your representatives in congress, we can sift out the unnecessary from the necessary.  We can strike out the ridiculous and replace it the logical “.

I would do this along side of fellow Republican candidates for the senate and house and announce an American Tax Equity Committee comprised of Democrats and Republicans that will eliminate those codes dragging us down and those loopholes that are allowing the rich, powerful and well connected to skirt the system. I would also add a call for reduced taxes. A call that revives John F. Kennedy’s cry and rekindles the high tide lifting all boats. I would articulate the fact that our democracy’s goal is not to make rich people poor but to make poor people rich and that is not achieved by taking money away from the people.

This has been said before and it has only helped to produce a more complicated and oppressive tax system. This time, with serious diligence and sincerity, it can be approached effectively and it can be made a rallying call that helps get voters behind it and the candidates pushing for it. Short of calling for a fair, equitable and simple flat tax, revamping the arcane old code is the least that can be done.

While on the economy, I would advise that McCain admit to a tough transition that our economy must face. One that is steeped in a changing of generational attitudes when it comes to money. A change back to the thinking of our greatest generation, a generation that did not live beyond their means. Call upon Americans to deal with real money, not the fake money of plastic or predatory loans. declare that we must not rely on what we don’t have but rather what we do and state that by living beyond our means is one very real aspect of today’s shocking need to pay the piper. I would have McCain point out that the requesting for American citizens to stop living beyond their means doesn’t stop with them, but that under his administration, it will start with government.

McCain needs to demonstrate that Wall Street alone did not bring about the dismal economic picture, but that a government which mandated sub-prime loans to achieve homeownership and a mentality of borrowing for today without saving for tomorrow led to this crisis and that now we must stop borrowing from Peter to pay Paul and operate in real dollars not fake dollars. Such straight talk will allow McCain to take hold of the issue rather than be strangled by the issue.

With 4 weeks remaining such straight talk could be delivered on plenty of other issues. Issues like an energy independence and efficiency initiative and legislative reform process that eliminates the numbers of riders that get attached to bills and provide ridiculous government funding through sneaky measures. There are dozens of major issues that can be addressed in detail every other day during the next month and they should be. It is up to the candidates to bring them up, lay them out and focus our attention on them.

In presenting the issues, in such a way, for 48 at a time, the maedia will digesting, disecting and discussing each of McCain’s iniatives, thereby making “his” campaign the focus and forcing the Obama campaign to respond.

Instead of allowing each new media cycle setting the agenda, John McCain must take control of the media cycles. Regardless of his positions on the issues contained herein, and others not mentioned, McCain’s articulation on them can capture the agenda and possibly the majority of votes on Election Day.

AN IRISH OUTLOOK ON THE ELECTION

We, in Ireland, can’t figure out why you are even bothering to hold an election in the United States.

On one side, you have a lawyer who is married to a lawyer.

On the other side,

you have a war hero married to a good looking woman who owns a beer distributorship.

What are you lads thinking over there?
